The goals of this important face-to-face meeting are:

1) To bring representatives from all participating teams around the same table to discuss MOBIE and get the latest updates

2) To go over the committee report from the October 2013 Conceptual Design Handover Workshop and review/discuss areas where more technical work is required

3) To go over each proposed mini-study and review rationale, statement of work, specific deliverables and collaborating institutions

4) To go over TMT common practices that all mini-studies will be required to follow (work package agreements, types of technical/management documents, schedule development/cost estimating methodologies and communications/oversight/reporting)

5) To discuss plans beyond the mini-studies (delta conceptual design, preliminary design, team evolution, etc. etc)

6) To foster interactions between MOBIE partners!

Visa Application:

If you need a Chinese visa, please send a scan of the information page of your passport (or list the details on this page in your email) to Mr. Li YangPeng as soon as possible. We will then send you the invitaion letter.

Notice for booking hotel:

For all participants, please contact and confirm with Mr. Li YangPeng in advance for booking your rooms at one of the several options listed in the following table if needed.

Another alternative is NAOC guest house, please also contact with Mr. Li Yang Peng for booking your rooms at the guest house if needed. The cost for room here will be covered by CTMT, but available rooms are very limited, so please contact us to check its availability as soon as possible.

Transportation:

You can get a taxi right outside the arrival terminals. It is about 30 km from the airport to KITPC or ITP. The fare is about 25 USD. If you take the Taxi, you may show the following tag to the taxi driver.
